Frequently Asked Questions

The Answers You Need

How long does it take to create a live guided tour?

Creating a tour requires shooting the tour photography on-site, and then programming the tour.  In general, the photo shoot will take two hours or less, while the programming will take a day or two, depending on the number of spaces and tour features.

How many families can attend a live guided tour simultaneously?

Technically, there is no limit to the number of families that can attend the same live guided tour, and they can attend from anywhere in the world.

Does the virtual tour have to be live and guided?

No.  The virtual tour that we produce can be used for live guided tours AND self guided tours.  This way, your virtual tour can work for you around the clock.

Can I share my tour on Facebook?

Yes.  Social media sharing of your virtual tour will increase your reach.

What should I include in my virtual tour?

In general, we suggest that your virtual tour mimic your in-house guided tour.  So, it may include your lobby, sample classroom, and all public spaces such as your cafeteria, gymnasium, tech lab, library, auditorium, etc.

Who controls the pace and path of the live guided tour?

The tour host can restrict guests' movement through a guided tour, or allow guests to set their own pace.  At any time, the host can re-capture the guest's view of the tour and have them rejoin the guided tour.

Can virtual tours include audio and video?  How about PDFs and web links?

Yes, all of these.  For example, interactive hot spots can be programmed into the tour that, when clicked, play a teacher's video or link to an enrollment application on your web site.

So how much does this cost?

Costs will vary based on the number of panorama images and multimedia elements included in the tour.  Ask us for a free quote.
